Director's Message

Ravenshaw Business School was founded in the year 2008 by Ravenshaw University to offer two year full-time residential management programme. The university is a 142 years old institute that is more or less synonymous with Orissa’a intellectual hub for over a century. Its alma matter, spread all over the world, speaks volumes about its legendary legacy of intellectual prosperity.

In its quest to bring professional courses within its ambit with the same resolute ambition to mark a dent in the academic and corporate world, it decided to launch management course within its heritage campus with academic consultancy from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB), a well known B-School in the country. The pedagogy, syllabus and faculty, to a sizeable extent, are drawn from XIMB as a matter of benchmarking. As a fledgling institute of three years, I find it ready to compete and carve out a niche for itself.

The grooming effort that goes on in and outside the classroom, I hope, would develop human resource of quality with discipline, purpose and enthusiasm to accept challenges, live with uncertainty and deliver for achievement of organizational goals.
